13" Round Rag Quilt Mini Mat Doily Centerpiece Trivet Black & White Handmade

This listing is for a 13" Hand-crafted Rag Quilt Doily (Candle or Lamp Mat).   Each Mat has 8 Slices or Patches consisting of 3 layers: Cotton Top, Flannel Center and  Cotton Back that are machine quilted together, than the slices or patches are sewn together and the seams clipped to create the "ragged" look.  A contrasting Center Circle is sewn on to set your Candle, Lamp or knick-knacks on or leave plain. TEAPOT NOT INCLUDED.
I made two of these, if you need a pair.
This Mat has been washed once to start the ragging process. The clipped edges will continue to get fluffier each time you wash it. Different types of Fabrics are used in making the Mats. These Fabrics have a different rate of shrinkage when washed which creates the wonderful puckers and crinkles, just like the vintage Quilts these are patterned after.

We have a Non-Smoking - Dog Loving Home, but the Dogs are Management and don't help me sew.
