Benefitting from a frame off rotisserie restoration, this car was brought back to life in a big way. Totally redone, except for an engine rebuild which included the installation of later model cylinder heads, and just cleaned and painted, this car has rarely seen rain, or any bad weather. As I said, Call NOW!
Exterior
Panels were painted with direct to substrate build primer and then hours of block sanding. After this process, 2 coats of Triple Saffron base and a clear coat which I'm just wild about. At this point all re-chroming was initiated, as well as the consignor polishing all the stainless...for days to get the shine he needed. Well minded gaps now showing, some black pin striping at the top of the fenders through the door sills, and nicely ribbed rocker covering just at the bottom of the doors and not on the actual rockers. The convertible top is new and has a totally clear rear plastic window and moves up and down flawlessly. 14-inch Magnum 500 wheels are wrapped with red line radials. A large panel dual headlight curved in the rear tail light, a big steel slabbed car looking beautiful when that top is dropped.
Interior
Making use of the structures of the seats which were totally rebuilt with foam, and wrapped with Saffron vinyl to match the new door panels, and a fresh roll of gold carpet, bring this interior right back to the pristine state. Notable horizontal and vertical thin strips of chrome accent the door panels, along with power window toggles, door actuator and side view mirror joystick. The low back buckets with tuck and roll inserts and smooth bolsters and euro design headrests sport seat belts in gold. A rear bench in the same pattern as the buckets has some nicely padded armrests complete with ashtrays. While the seats were redone, the vinyl material was not stretched tight enough and has resulted in some wrinkling. Also, a very good condition tonneau Saffron colored top cover is showing. A sleek styled center console houses a glovebox, and the Hurst shifter. In front just above a Saffron metal bottom strip is a dark brown padded vinyl dash. In its center is an aluminum panel which shows very well, and houses the A/C vents, AM/FM radio, power top button, and A/C and heat controls. On the driver's side are 2 large round gauges showing speedometer and a tic toc tach just behind the original steering wheel which is also looking good. Power steering, power brakes, and a power antenna are all here and working. Gold carpeting is flooding the floors. Call me mellow yellow.
Drivetrain
After extensive research and casting numbers check we know we have a 1966/67 400ci V8 442 Block. A check of the head stampings and these are not correct as they decode as 1967 through 1969 425ci/455ci V8 Cylinder heads. A single 4-barrel carburetor is atop and this number runs through as a 1967 AUTOMATIC engine carb. The intake is correct. A 4-speed manual Muncie transmission is on back, while it is a 1967 unit it carries a VIN stamp from another vehicle, and power goes through a 10-bolt 3.23 posi rear axle.
Undercarriage
Fully stripped and recoated with rustproofing black paint, we now see power disc brakes up front, and power drums for the back. Independent coil spring suspension up front and a 4 link with coil springs on back.
Drive-Ability
A fine runner and great cruiser. All the power options work save for the rear driver's side window which only works from rear drivers side seat switch, the tachometer does not move, and the top control switch has a tendency to stick. All else is just working swimmingly.
All buttoned up and painted with a matching color way for the interior, that being Saffron. With the engine power, and good looks a car that you truly can be wild about! Come on down.

All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility unless otherwise documented in sales agreement.
Deposit:
Buyer must contact us within 24 hours of accepted offer, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A 0 deposit is due within 48 hours of listings end to secure the vehicle.
Payment of Balance Due:
The remainder is due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell it otherwise. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
Additional Fees and Taxes:
All Pennsylvania residents must pay applicable state and local tax, title and license fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for their own state taxes and fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
Shipping:
The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges unless otherwise documented on the sales agreement.  We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises.
