This 1991 Toyota Land Cruiser is a Japanese-market HDJ81 model powered by a Turbo Diesel 4.2-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and locking front, center and rear differentials. A three-spoke steering wheel frames instrumentation that includes a 180-km/h speedometer, a Turbo-branded 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The turbodiesel 4.2-liter 1HD-T inline-six featured an 18.6:1 compression ratio and an output of 164 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque when new.
