This is a 1993 Land Cruiser FZJ-80. I don't know where the confusion is but the car has a clear title and the CARFAX shows it was puchased in 1993 in CA and has been a California and Arizona car this entire time. I tried to revise that field but I am unable to do so. If you google "DJ81" the first thing that comes up is "DJ81 VIN confusion IH8MUD Forum". I guess some or all US 1993 Land Cruisers have DJ81 in the VIN as does this one and maybe this is what causes the confusion. Nonetheless, this is a US FZJ-80 gasoline 4.5L six. I hope this helps any confusion.
This is a LOW MILEAGE 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ80.
I have a little bit of history with this vehicle.
I lived across the street from the owner since 2004.
He passed away a few years ago and the wife was unwilling to part with it for several years so it sat in their driveway.
She told me a little over a year ago that she was ready to part with it.
It was in great shape and extremely well maintained.
We live in Arizona and the vehicle had some sun damage, so I replaced all the carpets, leather, had it professionally wrapped with 3M wrap, and performed a full front axle rebuild and did the brakes and rotors.
I also replaced many of the hoses and rubber parts in the engine compartment, did a coolant flush, and put new tires on it.
Points, rotors, plug wires, etc., all new.
Shocks are Old Man Emu Nitro Charger SportShocks (+ Steering Stabilizer).
I also have a 1994 Land Cruiser and this one run flawlessly in comparison.
AC was recently serviced and blows cold.
