Welcome to my listing for this very sought after 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser 3.0 turbo diesel with 7 seats! As this vehicle is now over 25 years old, it can now legally be imported into the US & is exempt from EPA & DOT requirements.
Shipping is handled from this side & we can ship to most major US ports. The cost of shipping to an agreed EAST COAST port is already INCLUDED in the purchase price. Shipping to the West Coast can also be arranged at additional cost. We work closely with a freight forwarder in the US who, for a small fee, can handle all the customs import paperwork on your behalf upon arrival.
So... the Land Cruiser. I’ve been asked on many occasions if I’m able to offer a cheaper value to suit a more restricted budget. So, i’m offering this Land Cruiser as it sits for a very reduced price. Usually these diesel Land Cruisers command a price of k - k based on condition, spec & mileage. Most importantly, this LC is extremely solid, mechanically sound (I’d jump in this & drive it anywhere) & nice and clean inside. It drives extremely well. No knocks from the suspension, engine pulls really well, the transmission shifts exactly as it should & the brakes stop it perfectly in a straight line. The underside hasn’t yet been cleaned however it will be thoroughly cleaned before it’s shipped. The underside is very solid & has never been welded. Please see pics.
The interior is nice & clean. Free from any damage, stains and also free of any nasty odours. This is a full 7 seater vehicle, however once all the seats are folded up, the cargo space is huge.

So, the negatives. Why is this Land Cruiser selling for far less than usual? Well, whilst it still presents nicely & could certainly be used ‘as is’ which is ideal if you’re on a tight budget. The body work could do with attention in a few areas to bring it back to its former glory. These areas are as follows : the paint on the roof has suffered lacquer peel. The passenger side rear quarter, rear door & front door has been scratched. There is a random bit of rust on the drivers door beneath the mirror, a small scab on the hood with various other little marks. If you had a friendly body shop guy, budget between 00 - 00 to have these items addressed. Or, simply use as is. Of course non of these cosmetic issues affect its use or drive ability ect.
We will give the Land Cruiser a service before shipped. This will include engine oil, oil filter, air filter, diesel filter & we will also fit a new cam / timing belt. She will be ready to go.

Update : I noticed this morning that the batteries didn’t appear to be holding their charge properly. So I have ordered 2 new Japanese HEAVY DUTY PREMIUM Yuasa batteries which will be fitted before the Toyota is shipped.
