A wonderful relic from the American cruise liner S.S. America. Designed by William Francis Gibbs. The liner was built in Newport News and had many names during its lifetime. Wrecked in 1994 off of the Canary Islands.
The ashtray is cast bronze and bares the patina of use and age. No visible foundry marks. Nice detailed casting.
Approximately 3 7/8" diameter x 5/8" high.
