    Description

    This is a beautiful hand painted, one of a kind, known as a band box, that was bought at a juried craft show in Kennebunk, Maine in 1999. The name Band Box dates to the time when gentlemen would keep their collar and cuffs protected from dirt and dust in these types of boxes.
    The measurements are 15 x 7 1/2 and the flowers are blue lupine, sunflowers, daisies, and hollyhocks. There is a bee skep painted on the top and on one side. A wonderful addition to a country home and would fit right in with antiques.
