All our urns are handmade in India. The body of the urn is cast in 2 pieces and joined together then finished on a lathe. The lids are also cast and finished on a lathe all done by hand. The engraving is all handmade. The paws on the urns are hand carved. Every step in the process is done by someone, they are not machine made. Any machine use, like the lathe is human operated and hand finished.
Using a process that dates back to the 19th century. The workers are a highly skilled craftsman with years of experience.
