This New Fluke 80K-40 High Voltage Probe increases the AC and DC voltage measuring capability of your DMM. What is the increase you ask? Well, up to 40 kV DC or peak AC, and up to 28 kV rms AC. The voltage is read out directly on a DMM that has a 10 mΩ input impedance, which is the most common. One mV on the DMM equals 1 V being measured e.g., if the DMM reads 1200 mV, the measured voltage is 1200 V. [If you have a DMM with a non-standard input impedance, the Instruction sheet explains how to either add an external shunt resistor or how to perform a simple mathematical conversion. Neither of these will likely be needed.]
