Pedro Guerrero is a Dominican baseball player who played 15 seasons in MLB from 1978 to 1992 with the Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals. Pedro was one of the most feared hitters of the 1980's and during his career he was a 5-time All-Star. He also won a Silver Slugger Award and he was named the World Series MVP in 1981 as he lead the Dodgers to a World Series win over the New York Yankees. In the 1981 World Series he capped a wonderful performance in the Series when he had a home run, a triple and a bases loaded single and a total of 5 RBI's in the Series clinching Game #6
. Pedro was a versatile defensive player playing as many as six different defensive positions in his career. Pedro spent parts of 10 seasons with the Dodgers and another 5 with the Cardinals. He was a career .300 hitter.
