PRIMITIVE RAG QUILT FLOWER TRIVET
.  These unique Flowers come in two sizes ; LARGE (13") or SMALL (11"). Each Flower has 3 layers: the Round Center and Smaller Petals each have a Cotton Top with Flannel Backing; the Lower Petals have a Cotton Top, Flannel Center and Cotton Back. Each Layer is machine quilted together, than stacked and sewn together and the edges clipped to create the "ragged" look. There is a Total of 7 layers of Fabric in each Flower.
These Flowers are a cute Decorator Accent alone or as a pair. Gift idea: Pair the smaller Mats with a Bud Vase and Flower OR the Larger Mats with a small potted plant for an instant OOAK Centerpiece.
You can SPECIAL ORDER these in any Colors or Color Combinations.
These Mats have been washed once to start the ragging process. The clipped edges will continue to get fluffier each time you wash it. Different types of Fabrics are used in making the Mats. These Fabrics have a different rate of shrinkage when washed which creates the wonderful puckers and crinkles, just like the vintage Quilts these are patterned after.

We have a non-smoking, Dog Friendly Home, but the Dogs don't help me sew very often!
