This coat is absolutely so magnificent that I bought after a wine filled lunch as couldn't resist (funny how money becomes irrelevant when a bit high).  It is quite unusual with that really large  button which really sold me as I love mid century mod. Although may be from 80s (appraisal done then but could be 70s) it has a bit of a deco or mod look about it. Much nicer in person as can really appreciate details. However when I sobered up a bit have to say I was a bit taken back and had buyers remorse, especially spending so much money. I already have many heavy winter coats and do not need another one! Luckily I have the option of listing. As I said, it is a gorgeous golden brown color that was hard to capture in pix. Then the styling is amazing: mandarin like collar with shoulders and side panels done in a herringbone pattern. Straight sleeves tapered and can cuff. Label is "Le Parisien Furs" "Washington DC. Has owner's name "Patricia Stanley" on inside. It was appraised in 1986 for ,985.00. Simply amazing. It does have fur closures down front if want to wear buttoned.  I am really tempted to keep but doubt I would wear often enough to justify what I paid for it so know someone else will want to show this decadent piece off. In very good condition; a few tiny (less than pea size) places where the fur seems to be like pushed down which mostly just soothes out. It is large so would work for a man also. Will fit many sizes but might overwhelm a small person. I included a pix of the appraisal.
