This is a large urn for a pet that was 75 pounds or less.
The urn measures 8 x 5 x 3 1/2 tall. The rule of thumb is that the cubic inch volume is equal to the pets weight pre cremation. If your pet was right around the 75 pound mark, I would suggest going to the larger urn.
The urn in the picture may not be the urn you will receive as I make these about 10 at a time. However I do hand pick all the wood to get the most beautiful urns i can make.
The poem is laser engraved into the top of the urn. I can engrave your precious pets name/dates on the front if you like, please pick the option to add engraving. You can message me after your purchase as to what you would like engraved on the front.
I make these urn about 10 at a time in my one man shop. The urns are carefully constructed then sanded with three different grits of sand paper, then the finishing starts. I apply 4 coats of polyurethane with a progressively finer grit sanding in between each coat. Then they are polished to a nice smooth shine that will protect the urn for years!
