,  a NEW Hand-crafted XL 29"  Rag Quilt Table Cloth, Candle Mat or Centerpiece. This
Mat has 24
Patches consisting of 3 layers: Cotton Top, Flannel Center and Cotton Back that are machine quilted together, than the slices or patches are sewn together and the seams clipped to create the "ragged" look. A  Circle of contrasting fabric  to the center so you can set a Candle or Trinket on it or just leave it plain.  The Brown Fabrics used in this have a purplish cast in some lighting, just like a chocolate candy bar!  This Mat took 3 yards of Fabric to make it. TEAPOT NOT INCLUDED.
Mat has 24 Patches in 3 different  Fabrics and a contrasting center circle.

This Mat has been washed once to start the ragging process. The clipped edges will continue to get fluffier each time you wash it. Different types of Fabrics are used in making the Mats. These Fabrics have a different rate of shrinkage when washed which creates the wonderful puckers and crinkles, just like the vintage Quilts these are patterned after.

We have a Non-Smoking - Dog Loving Home, but the Dogs are Management and don't help me sew.
